Preventive Controls for Human Food Courses

This 3-day FDA approved course will allow participants to become a “Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI)”. This key requirement for individuals and food facilities (415, FD&C Act) established by the Preventive Controls for Human Food (PCHF) regulations will provide participants the necessary tools to develop and implement a Food Safety Plan and to perform a Hazard Analysis of Risk Preventive Controls (HARPc). At the end of this course participants will receive a certificate from the Association for Food and Drug Officials (AFDO) that qualifies them as a PCQI. This workshop is a combination of on-class and hands-on activities that will prepare students to safely process and package food under the new PCHF regulations. Target Audience: Managers, owners, operators, quality control personnel, and those individuals overseeing food safety operations within food facilities that fall under the PCHF regulations.
